Virma Pubi – Rakvere parim meelelahutuse ja toitlustuse koht alates 1988. aastast.
Pakume laia valikut maitsvaid toite, olles ainus mitmekülgne toidukoht Rakveres,
kus saab nautida nii pubi klassikalisi toite kui ka Aasia köögi hõrgutisi.
Meie menüüs on toekad lõunapakkumised, maitsvad pubiroad ja eksklusiivsed Aasia toidud, mis pakuvad midagi igale maitsele.
Virma Pub takeaway teenus on kiire ja mugav – saad toidule järgi tulla või tellida otse koju.
Peresõbralikkus on meie üks olulisemaid väärtusi. Meil on lastele oma menüü, kus iga laps saab valida oma lemmiktoidu juurde ka väikese üllatusnänni. Lisaks pakume laste sünnipäevadele põnevaid peovaagnaid, mis sisaldavad laste lemmiknäkside ja magustoite, ning võimalust valida ka temaatilisi kaunistusi, et muuta pidu veelgi erilisemaks.
Lemmikloomad on alati teretulnud! Koostöös PetCity loomapoega oleme loonud ka lemmikloomadele menüü. Loomadele pakume alati ka värsket vett, et nad saaksid nautida meie sõbralikku atmosfääri.

Thanks to the peculiarities of the Estonian summer, we've made our outdoor terrace weatherproof.

VIRMA PUB HISTORY
1890
The history of today’s Virma Pubi building dates back to the 18th century.
The master owners changed several times, and in the 1890s the property belonged to
to the heirs of coppersmith Herman Jakob Steinbeck.
It was during their time that the current limestone-wooden building was constructed, with a stream running alongside it.
It still flows beneath the road to this day.
1938
Until the autumn of 1938, the building housed a public sauna for the townspeople, the opening of which was even noted in the newspaper *Postimees*.
Throughout the Estonian era, the ground floor of the building was home to various shops, such as Friedrich Metz’s clothing store, the School Students’ Society bookstore, and even a warehouse for the Rotermann Factories.
The upper floors housed both apartments and a dental laboratory. It is also known that in at least 1925, some of the rooms were used by the local Baptist congregation.
1945 - 1997
After World War II, the building was mainly used for shops and various workshops. The limestone and brick walls, as well as the wooden structures, have been preserved in their original form to this day.
1988
Virma’s journey began in 1988, when the founders of the company acquired the building at Tallinna St. 8, which was in need of renovation. The first area to be restored was the part of the building where Sarviku Grillresto is now located. A café and shop were established there. Over the years, the building has been gradually restored step by step, with a focus on preserving the historical character and creating a cozy atmosphere for visitors.
2001
In 2001, chefs of Indian origin came to work at Virma in Rakvere and began preparing Chinese food. They created the first menu, which, to everyone’s surprise, became very popular. At that time, there were few restaurants in Estonia offering Asian cuisine. The Virma Pubi brand was expanded with the addition of the *Dragon House* label.
2020
36 YEARS LATER
Virma Pubi still offers great food and hosts unforgettable parties.
Virma Pubi first opened its doors in 1988, which means we’ve lived through a change of regime, the turn of the century, the turn of the millennium, and even Covid. We've adapted like a chameleon, evolving with the times and the needs of our guests.
Nowadays, you can visit us for lunch or dinner, enjoy a party, sing karaoke, play billiards, relax on the summer terrace, and experience awesome live concerts.
